Traceability Infrastructure

Raw material traceability is the starting point of the Worimex production system. The process starts with goods receiving. Each raw material arriving at the facility is recorded in accordance with defined control procedures and routed to the incoming quality process.

A unique barcode is generated by the system for each batch that passes quality approval. This barcode is the digital identity of the material. Batch information, supplier data and quality results are matched with the ERP system. Thanks to the scans made through hand terminals, material movements are processed into the system without manual intervention.

The traceability chain expands when the raw material is put into production. Which batch of raw material is used in which production line and on which machine is recorded on a product basis. Thus, each final product can access its own production history and batch information.

Material Traceability provides an active data infrastructure not only for recall scenarios but also for quality analysis and performance evaluations. Traceability is a natural part of the production process, not an added layer of control.
