Concept Development
In the concept development phase, the product acquires an engineering-based structure.
During the concept development phase, the product gains an engineering-based structure. 3D designs created through SolidWorks infrastructure are shaped by taking into account tolerance analysis, material selection and assembly requirements.
Flow, thermal and mechanical requirements are evaluated with simulation tools. Digital validation minimizes risks before physical prototyping. Cost optimization and production perspective are activated at this stage.
Design review meetings are conducted interdisciplinary. Feedback from laboratory tests is translated into revisions to the concept.
Concept development is the first engineering layer where technical decisions are translated into a tangible product.
