DVT Verification
Design Validation Testing (DVT) verifies that the product meets defined technical specifications and performance requirements.
TOOLING
Test coverage varies by product type but typically includes compressive strength, leakage testing, thermal cycling, environmental stress tests and field simulation conditions.
Test results are documented through technical reports and analyzed by multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
When errors occur, root cause analysis is performed and design revisions are applied before retesting.
INSIGHT
DVT is the critical technical threshold at which product reliability is proven before mass production begins. The aim is to assure quality at the design stage, rather than correcting defects after production has started.
